Brief;
Take inspiration from the current climate of the world and create a new work which explore connections between what you have learnt throughout the term and external influences.
For this photo series inspired by life throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, I wanted to highlight the need for cleanliness within our lives. Taking inspiration from current living situations, I wanted to take the somewhat mundane activity of washing our hands and glamorise it into something that might change the way people look at it. I was inspired by pop art, using bright colours and high contrast to create visually aesthetic images that create a strong message. Taking it away from the negative outlook of germs and the diseases contagious nature, and into the positive guise of staying safe.
